New Delhi : If you have used a feature phone, then you would know that many shortcuts were given on the ‘hard keys’ of the feature phone. But nowadays there are very few shortcuts in smartphones. If you want, you can create your own shortcuts with the help of some special apps available on Google Play Store. Let us know about them.

With the help of this app available on Google Play Store, you can create as many shortcuts as you want. Also, it has two versions available, out of which is the premium version. A fee has to be paid for the premium version. Download the free Button Remapper (No Root) app. After opening it, when the app first opens, a special option will appear at the top of the screen. It has to be activated. After this, to create the shortcut, first open the app, then click on the plus sign given at the bottom right. After this you will get two options. Select the above option. Then a popup named ‘New Action’ will open. You will find writing inside it, as soon as you click on it, a list of all the options will appear in front of you, where you can set a shortcut. After selecting one, the option of long action will appear below. To activate it, click on it. Even the long action time can be changed. Then click on OK. By following this process you can create as many shortcuts as you want. With its help, you can create your own shortcuts on Home Back, Recent Apps, Camera and Volume keys. It can even have two shortcuts set on one button. One by simple click and the other by long click.

More than Button Remapper, shortcuts can be set to the Menu Key Remapper (no root) app. Four button click options are given in this app. For example, one click will open an app. Another app will open on two clicks. Also, on clicking the button three times, the third app will appear. If necessary, by clicking four quickly, the fourth option will open. You can include phone settings or apps in these options.
