Hit and run case in the capital, speeding car took the life of a delivery worker

A heart-wrenching accident took place in the early morning today, Saturday, 21 February, in Subhash Nagar, the western area of ​​Delhi. A delivery boy was hit by a speeding car. According to the information, this accident happened at Subhash Nagar Metro red light on Najafgarh Road leading to Rajouri Garden. Due to this accident, the delivery boy was seriously injured and was taken to DDU Hospital. Doctors declared the delivery boy dead in the hospital.

The person was driving the car drunk

The name of the deceased delivery boy is said to be Hem Shankar and his age was 25 years. The name of the person driving the car is said to be Mohit Kumar, whose age is 27 years. According to the people present at the spot, Mohit was driving under the influence of alcohol and that is why he hit Hem Shankar’s electric scooter hard. The electric scooter was completely damaged in the collision.

Police arrested the accused

The police have arrested the accused and started interrogating him. His car has also been seized. An FIR has been registered against Mohit and further legal action has been initiated.
