‘If there are no Hindus then the world does not exist…’ Know what was said

Mohan Bhagwat statement Manipur: RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, in his address during his visit to Manipur on Friday, emphasized on the strength of India’s civilization, society and nation. He said that India is not just a country but an ancient civilization whose roots are so strong that despite many ups and downs and invasions, its existence never ended. According to Bhagwat, the structure of Indian society is such that the Hindu community will always survive and if Hindus do not exist then the existence of the world will not be possible.

Others came and ended, India is still alive – Bhagwat
Sangh chief Bhagwat said that circumstances keep changing with time, many countries and empires have seen rise and fall in history. Civilizations like Greece, Egypt and Rome were lost in history, but India still stands strong because here a basic network of society was formed which kept us alive. In his words, India is an immortal civilization. Here others have come, shone and died, but India is still alive today and will remain so in future also.

Bhagwat mentioned Mahabharata and Ramayana
Referring to the literature of Mahabharata, Ramayana and Kalidas, Bhagwat said that India has always been a culturally and historically unified nation. The borders and rulers may have kept changing, but India’s original form and collective consciousness never broke. Giving the example of the freedom struggle, he said that even though the sun never set on the British Empire in the world, India ended it after a long fight. Independence was achieved after 90 years of struggle from 1857 to 1947 and the voice was never allowed to be suppressed.

Bhagwat gave special emphasis on unity of society
Bhagwat laid special emphasis on the unity of the society and said that RSS does not do politics nor controls any organization. During the meeting with tribal leaders in Imphal, he appealed for common consciousness and mutual cooperation. According to him, uniformity is not necessary to maintain unity, but cohesion within the society is necessary.

Talking about economic self-reliance, Bhagwat said that the nation should be so capable that India should not be dependent on anyone on the basis of economy, military force and knowledge. He said that the goal is to create a country where no citizen remains unhappy, unemployed or deprived and every person can live a life with dignity and happiness by contributing to the building of a prosperous India.
