Indigo flights back on track, more than 1800 flight operations restored

New Delhi. The country’s largest airline Indigo has said that after continuous improvement in the network for several days, all its flight services are now normal. The company confirmed that all flights published on the website will now operate regularly under the adjusted network. According to the airline, almost all the bags stuck at the airports have been returned to the passengers and work is underway to quickly deliver the remaining bags.

The company said it is operating more than 1800 flights today, connecting all 138 stations in the network. At the same time, there are plans to operate around 1900 flights tomorrow. Indigo said that its on-time performance has also become normal as before. The airline has fully automated the process of providing full refunds to passengers with a ‘No Questions Asked’ policy on cancellations, which can be completed through a simple process on the company’s website. Indigo has appealed to the passengers to check the latest status of their flight on the website before going to the airport. The company has also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers due to service disruption.

On the other hand, IndiGo CEO Peter Albers said that your airline has once again stood on its feet after the crisis. IndiGo CEO issued a statement through video saying, “We went through problems, passengers faced problems. We apologize for this. The beauty of air travel is that it brings people together, emotions and ambitions. We know you were supposed to travel for different reasons, but thousands of you could not do so. We sincerely apologize for this.”

We could not avoid canceling the flights. But we want to assure you that our entire IndiGo team is working hard. Our first priority is to reach our valued customers safely at their homes. Refunds are being issued on a large scale. This is being done daily. Most of the luggage stuck at airports is being delivered to the passengers’ homes. The process of delivering the remaining bags to customers’ homes is also underway.

We are fully committed to serving your needs as a customer. People are trusting our services even after the crisis, and are booking flights. This is encouraging for us. We have learned from the mistakes and are fully studying why such a situation arose. We are also fully cooperating with the government. Thank you all for accepting our apology and supporting us during this difficult time.”
