Iran unveils new underground missile base, commander visits

Tehran. Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) unveiled a new underground missile base amid tensions between the US and Iran. Quoting Iran, it was reported that on Wednesday, Chief of Staff of Iranian Defense Forces Abdolrahim Mousavi and Commander of IRGC’s Aerospace Division Saeed Majeed Mousavi had visited. The missile base was unveiled during this visit itself.
The report said that during the visit, the capabilities of the IRGC’s missile units and their operational preparedness were assessed. Along with this, senior commanders of Iran’s security forces were given detailed information about the progress and current preparations of strategic units.
Mousavi said Iran managed to strengthen its power to deter attacks by upgrading its ballistic missiles in all technical respects. He said that the country is fully prepared to face any action of the enemies. After the conflict with Israel in June 2025, Iran has made major changes in its military strategy. Now the military doctrine has changed from a defensive to an offensive approach, which focuses on conducting operations at a faster pace and on a larger scale. Along with this, asymmetric warfare methods and decisive, crushing military tactics have been adopted.
Let us tell you that due to increasing military presence of Washington near Iran, there is tension between the two countries. Trump has threatened Iran to either make a deal with America or face the threat of attack. Mousavi also warned that Iran would give a befitting reply to any mistake by America. If the US attacks Iran, it will be a regional war, not just with the US. He said that even the slightest mistake will give Iran freedom to take action, then no American will be safe and the fire of the region will burn America and its allies.
