PUNE – The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is set to end the anticipation for approximately 14 lakh students as it prepares to announce the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Class 12 results next week. While an exact date is yet to be confirmed, senior officials from the Pune headquarters have indicated that the “Big Day” will likely fall between April 20 and April 22, 2026.
Massive Scale of Evaluation
This year, the Maharashtra Board conducted exams across nine divisional boards—Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nasik, Latur, and Konkan. To process the results for such a vast student body, the board utilized over 300 centralized evaluation centers. The focus this year was on “Zero-Error” tabulation, with a mandatory three-tier verification process for every student who scored above 90% to ensure merit list accuracy.
Stream-Wise Performance Expectations
Early reports from the evaluation centers suggest a positive trend in the Science and Commerce streams.

This service is designed to provide mental health support and career guidance to students, helping them navigate the transition from school to professional courses or university degrees.
