Regarding Right to Health in the Assembly on Thursday, Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar said that the Congress government had brought this bill for electoral gains. After the statement of the Medical Minister, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot made a sharp retort and said that the Minister’s statement is not only condemnable but is like rubbing salt on the wounds of poor people.
Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot wrote on Twitter that today in the Assembly, Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar gave a statement on ‘Right to Health’ that there is no need for it. His statement is not only condemnable, but is like salt on the wounds of the poor and middle class troubled by rising medical expenses.
BJP government failed to make rules for Right to Health
He said that our Congress government envisioned Right to Health despite the implementation of Universal Healthcare Schemes like Chiranjeevi Yojana and Nirogi Rajasthan Yojana. So that the patient is not deprived of treatment in case of emergency due to any reason. The BJP government has failed to make rules for Right to Health and is now making such excuses.
Surrender of BJP government in front of medical lobby
Former CM Ashok Gehlot said that the people of the state are seeing that the Congress government intended to save them from expensive medical expenses by giving them the right to health. At the same time, the BJP government is surrendering itself to the medical lobby and calling even the Right to Health wrong.
