Delhi Weather: The weather has once again taken a turn in Delhi-NCR. Along with severe cold, it is raining lightly in Delhi since Friday morning. Dense fog is also present in many areas. However, these days a slight decrease in pollution has been recorded as compared to earlier. But there is no complete relief. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQI of Delhi’s India Gate was recorded at 329 on Friday, which was above 400 two weeks ago.

The early morning rain in Delhi created problems for office going people. The Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of a drop in the maximum temperature. So, ‘Yellow Alert’ of dense fog has been issued for Friday. The cold had increased in Delhi since Thursday but today the rain has increased the cold further.

Trains were also affected
Due to fog in Delhi, trains are running late by hours. On Thursday alone, about 21 trains coming to Delhi were delayed. So one train was canceled due to excessive fog. According to the Railways, fog has put a brake on the speed of the railway for the last several days. Many trains were delayed for 3-4 hours.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), AQI 329 has been recorded near India Gate in Delhi on Friday, which falls in the Poor category. But now after the rains, there is a possibility of reduction in pollution soon.
