New Delhi/Bhopal. These days, MP MLAs and leaders are waiting for political appointments. The MLAs are hoping that the cabinet should be expanded and he should be made a minister. At the same time, the leaders are waiting for political appointments to be made in corporations, boards and authorities as soon as possible, so that they can get the pleasure of power. However, they have been waiting for this for about one and a half years. Now BJP sources say that it would be fine if the cabinet expansion and political appointments are done before the bugle of assembly elections in five states, otherwise the wishes of the MLAs and leaders are likely to be fulfilled next year itself. It is noteworthy that along with West Bengal, assembly elections are to be held in Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry. The BJP high command will deploy MP ministers, MLAs and leaders in these elections. This means that from next month BJP will be fully engaged in elections. In such a situation, it is expected that if cabinet expansion and political appointments are not done in Madhya Pradesh now, then we will have to wait till next year. It is noteworthy that in 2021, the Election Commission had conducted the first phase of voting in West Bengal on March 27. The last phase of voting took place on April 29. Voting was held in Assam on March 27, April 1 and April 6. Voting was then held in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry on 6 April.
Rajya Sabha election hindrance in June
It is noteworthy that political appointments in the state are being postponed again and again. First the MP BJP President election, then the National President election and sometimes the Assembly session kept coming in the way. Now after the assembly elections of five states, elections are to be held on three Rajya Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh. In such a situation, the matter of appointments will remain stuck. After that the party will be busy preparing for the municipal elections to be held next year. However, sources say that the government and the organization have together prepared the blueprint for political appointments. It is expected that after Holi, the list of chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of corporations, boards and authorities will be released. According to sources, green signal for appointments has already been received from the central leadership. In the last few months, several rounds of meetings have been held between the state government and the BJP organization on this subject. It is being told that possible names have been discussed at Delhi level also and discussions have also been held with the Sangh regarding some names. After this, the process of appointments is now being taken forward.
Waiting for appointments for a long time
The process of political appointments in corporations, boards and authorities that have been lying vacant for a long time in Madhya Pradesh has now reached the final stage. The BJP organization and the government have together prepared a list of possible names and it is expected that the first list will be released after Holi. Through these appointments, a strategy is being worked on to strengthen the party organization and to give responsibility to active workers along with senior leaders. BJP state president Hemant Khandelwal had visited all the divisions of the state after assuming office. During this, he met senior party leaders and officials and laid emphasis on strengthening the organization. He also assured that no worker active in the party will be neglected. In view of the upcoming assembly elections, this step is considered important in the direction of expanding the organization and creating political balance.
