
Faridabad. A national level shooting coach in Faridabad has been seriously accused of raping a minor player. The incident took place on December 16 in a hotel in Surajkund, where the accused coach had called the victim on the pretext of discussing the match.
If he protested, the coach also threatened the player to ruin his career. In this case, an FIR has been registered under Section 6 of the POCSO Act and Section 351 (2) of the BNS on January 6 in the Mahila Police Station NIT of Faridabad.
According to the victim player, the national shooting coach called her to a room in the Taj Hotel in Surajkund on the pretext of discussing sports. There the coach allegedly raped her. The victim was in shock after the incident and narrated her ordeal to her mother on January 6. After this the victim’s mother lodged a complaint with the police. The police took immediate action and registered a case against the coach.
After the FIR was registered, the police started investigating the case. According to the player who complained to the police, she started learning shooting from the year 2017. In August 2025, he started taking training from a coach of the Indian shooting team.
It is alleged that the coach used to call him to Mohali, Patiala, Dehradun and Delhi for shooting training. The player’s national match was on 16 December at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, Tughlakabad, Delhi. When the match ended at around 12 noon and the player started going home, the coach stopped her on the pretext of discussing the match.
The players kept waiting for the coach in the range till 2 pm. Then the coach called him on WhatsApp and called him to the lobby of Taj Hotel in Surajkund. According to the player, the coach took him to the room on the third floor and discussed the match for some time. When the girl said that she had to go home, the coach told her to crack her back.
When the girl immediately refused, the coach forced her to lie on the bed and raped her. When the girl protested, the accused threatened to ruin her career. Then the coach himself dropped the girl down to the car.
The girl remained silent and scared for several days. On the morning of January 6, she gathered courage and told her mother about the coach’s actions and the matter reached the police. On which the police have registered an FIR and started investigation.
