Munir wanted to show international Mujahid…..Imran expressed his anger

Karachi. Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement issued from jail has made serious allegations against Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir. Imran, who is in jail, has vented his anger on Army Chief General Munir. Imran has alleged that Asim Munir is deliberately increasing tension with Afghanistan to show himself as an international Mujahid (fighter) and get Western support. Imran Khan has described Munir as mentally ill, due to which, according to him, a law and order problem has arisen in Pakistan and the Constitution and the rule of law have been completely destroyed.
According to Imran, Munir’s policies (intimidating Afghans, expelling refugees, carrying out drone strikes) have deteriorated relations with Afghanistan and allowed the cancer of terrorism to grow out of control.
Imran Khan said that he has been kept in complete solitary confinement and even the basic needs provided under the jail manual have been taken away. He has termed it as psychological torture. The statement came a day after he met his sister Dr Uzma Khan in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail after more than a month. He has claimed that his wife has been kept in jail in fake cases and she is under a lot of pressure. Khan alleged that his sister Noreen Niazi was dragged on the road after she demanded her legal right to meet him. This statement has been issued by Imran Khan in his own name and shared through social media post (on X). Imran Khan said that Asim Munir’s policies are dangerous for Pakistan. He expressed sadness that terrorism has gone out of control due to Munir’s policies. They allege that Munir is not concerned about the national interests of Pakistan and he is doing all this to please the western powers. He said that Munir first threatened Afghans, then expelled refugees from Pakistan and carried out drone attacks, the consequences of which are now being borne in the form of increasing terrorism. Imran Khan called Munir a mentally ill man. He alleged that due to Munir’s moral bankruptcy the Constitution and rule of law have completely collapsed in Pakistan.
