
Chandigarh. Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu of Punjab, expelled from Congress, has said that her husband Navjot Singh Sidhu will stay away from active politics for the next one year. Sidhu has signed agreements with 6 private companies, due to which he will not participate in any political activity. Navjot Kaur said on her social media platform that this decision has been taken completely keeping in mind professional commitments. Sidhu will focus on his new projects and corporate engagements for the next one year. After this announcement, there has been a stir in the politics of Punjab. Navjot Kaur said that she will soon form her new political party. The official office of the party will also be opened soon.
According to media reports, in the post, Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu targeted many Congress leaders. He wrote that corruption and opportunistic politics in the politics of Punjab has weakened the public trust. He claimed that his new party would be the voice of the common people and would be committed to saving the state from corruption and wrong political practices. This entire incident has given rise to discussions within the Congress also.
Navjot Kaur has been continuously attacking the party since her expulsion from Congress. Just a day earlier, he had made serious allegations against Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Wadding. Through the post, he had asked Raja Vading how he bought 100 acres of land? Along with this, he has also been accused of committing a scam of Rs 2400 crore in collaboration with the former Congress President of Punjab associated with Rajasthan. Navjot Kaur had warned Raja Vading that now he should be ready to answer in the court and go to jail. On these allegations of Navjot Kaur, Vading had said that it is not appropriate to react daily on the statements of people whose mental condition is not good.
