The CBI has concluded that the laddus worth Rs 20 crore were adulterated,” he said in a release. Demanding action from the government on the basis of CBI report in the case of adulteration of laddus, he warned that those who commit misdeeds cannot escape the punishment of Lord Venkateshwara. Earlier, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday made a big claim regarding adulteration in Tirupati Laddu. He said that the ghee used to make Tirupati laddu during the tenure of the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government was made from the chemical used to clean toilets. Naidu said adulterated ghee laced with chemicals was used in making laddus for five years. He said there are two types of chemicals, some of which are of plant origin, which are expensive. He told that the price of animal fat is low.
