Kolkata.A shocking case has come to light from Kolkata, West Bengal. Here the hanging body of the niece of Sanjay Roy, convicted in the RG Kar rape and murder case, has been recovered. The niece was only 11 years old.
The hanging body of an 11-year-old girl was found in Vidyasagar Colony, Alipore on Sunday night. The body was found in a cupboard. The deceased girl is the niece of Sanjay Roy, convicted in the RG Kar rape and murder case. She is the daughter of Sanjay’s elder sister.
It is learned that after the death of Sanjay’s elder sister, his younger sister used to take care of the child. Later the girl’s father married her. The family claims that the girl could not be found since Sunday night. After some time, they became suspicious after seeing the door of the house closed.
When there was no response even after knocking, the family members broke the door. On going inside, they saw that the girl’s body was hanging from the cupboard frame and a rope was tied around her neck. He was taken to SSKM hospital. But the doctors declared him dead.
