Asaduddin Owaisi: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has indicated that his party may consider supporting Nitish Kumar’s government in Bihar, but for this he has set a strict condition. Owaisi said that ignoring the development and rights of Seemanchal should end now. In a public meeting held in Amour, Owaisi said that Seemanchal has been neglected for years and now the time has come that it should be given the attention and resources it deserves.
Seemanchal should get its rights
Owaisi clearly said that development should not be limited to Patna and Rajgir only, whereas Seemanchal is still struggling with problems like river erosion, migration and large-scale corruption. Seemanchal should also get its rights now. According to Owaisi, the government will have to make serious efforts towards resolving these issues, only then the discussion on support will move forward.
Owaisi made revelations about the new strategy
This time, Owaisi revealed a new strategy to ensure that such a situation does not happen again. He said that now AIMIM MLAs will be accountable to the public. All five MLAs will sit in their regional offices for two days every week and will send their photos along with their live location, so that they know that they are actually present among the public.
Owaisi also said that he will visit Seemanchal every six months and establish direct communication with the common people. He claimed that Patna has also understood that the people of Seemanchal are standing with AIMIM and will remain with AIMIM in future too, and this message will reach Patna from Seemanchal only.
