Panic in court premises after threat, police alert

Gujarat Six different courts received bomb threats via email on Tuesday after schools in the U.S. There was panic after receiving threatening emails. Police arrived on information. The court premises were evacuated in a hurry. However, after investigation, nothing suspicious was found anywhere. Officials have called it a rumour. According to officials, the courts of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Valsad, Rajkot, Gandhinagar and Mehsana have received these threatening emails. As soon as the email was received, police teams along with bomb disposal squad and dog squad reached the spot. After this, an intensive search operation was conducted in the court premises.

What happened in Vadodara and Valsad?

In the email sent to Vadodara district court, it was claimed that 19 bombs were planted in the premises. Police officer Manjita Vanzara said that the email threatened to bomb the premises by noon. The sender of the email has also criticized the decision of a court in Tamil Nadu. Similarly, Valsad SP Yuvrajsingh Jadeja said that the district court there has also received threats. The email said that 19 IEDs have been planted in the campus, which will explode before the afternoon prayers. After this, 19 rooms of the court were evacuated and investigation was done.

Chaos in many other cities also

Officials confirmed that district courts in Rajkot, Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad were also evacuated on Tuesday morning. Even after hours of searching at all these places, nothing suspicious was found. In the afternoon, Mehsana District Court also received a similar email, after which a search operation was conducted there too. Let us tell you that a day before this, on Monday, 34 schools in Ahmedabad and Vadodara of Gujarat had received emails threatening to blow them up with bombs. Later all these threats also turned out to be false. Police are now investigating the connection between these two cases.
