PM Modi is very different, has not taken leave even once in 25 years: Justin Trudeau

New Delhi. There was once a tension between Canada and India. Now both the countries are not tired of praising each other. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who recently visited India, praised PM Narendra Modi and said that this Prime Minister is very different, he has never taken a single day off in the last 25 years. They give importance only to national service.
Recalling his recent visit to India and meeting with PM Modi at an event, Carney said that Modi’s working style and his dedication towards work is very different. He said- ‘This person is different.
As the Chief Minister of Gujarat and Prime Minister of India, he has not taken a single day off in the last 25 years. The Canadian Prime Minister said that Modi goes out for election campaigning every weekend and lakhs of people attend his rallies. Carney said that sometimes up to 2.5 lakh people are present in a rally, which shows his popularity. Praising PM Modi’s working style, Carney said that he especially focuses on working for the rural population. In fact, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney had recently visited India. This visit took place at a time when relations between the two countries had been tense in the last few years. Carney’s visit is being seen as an attempt to bring India-Canada relations back on track. After talks between the two leaders, it was agreed to increase cooperation in many areas. Both countries signed several agreements related to technology, energy, defense and cultural cooperation. In his address, Carney said that the relations between India and Canada are now entering a phase of new partnership. He said that Canada can play an important role in meeting the energy needs of India. In this direction, Canadian company Cameco has also signed an agreement to supply uranium to India for a long time.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also described Carney’s visit as important and said that it is a new milestone for the relations between India and Canada. He reminded that Carney had warmly welcomed him in Canada during the G7 meeting last year and now he got the opportunity to give him the same warm welcome in India. Carney also said that about 20 lakh people in Canada are of Indian origin, which further strengthens the relations between the two countries.
