According to the report, Hungarian PM Viktor Orban has from the beginning opposed the additional funding being given to Ukraine by European countries. Orban had refused to transfer Hungarian weapons to Ukraine, saying that Budapest had to give more priority to its economic stability and energy security. Apart from this, he also raised questions on the Ukrainian government regarding the mistreatment of people of Hungarian origin living in Western Ukraine.
