New Delhi. The people of Bihar have again handed over the reins of the state to Nitish Kumar. They have chosen Nitish as their new CM. On Thursday, Nitish Kumar took oath as the CM of Bihar for the 10th time. Let us tell you that before this he has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar 9 times. With this, he has also set a record for taking oath as CM for the maximum number of times in the country.
Despite becoming CM for the 10th time, Nitish Kumar is not the Chief Minister who has held the post of CM for the longest period. This record is in the name of former Sikkim CM Pawan Kumar Chamling. If Nitish Kumar wants to break this record, he will have to remain on the post of CM for the next 6 years.
Let us tell you that Nitish Kumar has taken charge of the post of CM 9 times till now and took oath as CM for the 10th time on Thursday. He became CM for the first time in the year 2000 for 7 days. He has traveled a journey of more than 18 years as a CM. Till date in the history of Bihar, no leader had held the post of CM for such a long time.
