Bengaluru. Karnataka minister and Congress leader Priyank Kharge compared the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to the devil and said that the BJP is its shadow. He said that we are fighting the shadows. If we fight the demon head on, the country will progress. He also raised questions on the funding of RSS. Also said that if registration is mandatory for clubs and associations then why should RSS also not be brought under the ambit of registration. Countering this, BJP Karnataka unit president BY Vijayendra said that before raising questions on the registration of other organizations, Priyank Kharge should ensure that the registration of the Karnataka unit of Congress led by his father Mallikarjuna is not cancelled. The public is rapidly engaged in eliminating Congress.
Why don’t you follow the law of the country?
Congress leader Priyank Kharge said- “They are unregistered.” They don’t want to register. Why doesn’t he follow the law of the country? You are running such huge activities domestically and internationally, and yet you are not paying taxes?
RSS runs on Guru Dakshina
He further said, “RSS has a network of more than 2,500 organisations. These people take money from them. These people are involved in money laundering. Congress leader said, Sangh says that RSS runs on Guru Dakshina. But even in a temple in the country, whenever someone donates, it is audited. Are they above the law?
Congress registration may get canceled
On the other hand, Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra took a dig at Priyank and taunted – “Before raising questions on the registration of other organizations, Priyank should worry about whether the registration of the Karnataka unit of Congress gets canceled because Congress is fast moving towards the trough.”
He alleged that targeting the RSS, belittling Hinduism and alienating Hindu supporters is part of the Congress party’s “hidden agenda”. Vijayendra said religion was never defeated and the RSS has completed a century and continues to grow as an organization committed to protecting its ideological principles. Vijayendra also claimed that Congress has appointed leaders like Priyank Kharge to defame Hindu traditions and pro-Hindu organisations.
