Samsung has officially expanded its mid-range dominance in India with the retail debut of the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G. Following their unveiling in late March, both devices went on sale across India on April 10, 2026. This year, Samsung is aggressively pushing its “Awesome Intelligence” suite, bringing flagship-tier Galaxy AI features—previously exclusive to the S-series—to a much broader audience.
The Galaxy A57 5G starts at ₹56,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant, while the Galaxy A37 5G begins at a more accessible ₹41,999. To entice buyers, Samsung is offering substantial launch incentives, including a ₹5,000 upgrade bonus and ₹3,000 instant bank cashback, which can bring the effective starting price of the A37 down to ₹36,999. Both phones are available via Samsung’s official website, major e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon, and various offline retail partners including Croma and Reliance Digital.
Hardware: Slim Designs and Long-Term Support
The 2026 A-series moves toward a more premium aesthetic with slimmer profiles; the Galaxy A57 measures just 6.9mm in thickness. Both devices feature vibrant 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the A57 is powered by the Exynos 1680 (4nm) chipset, while the A37 utilizes the Exynos 1480. Notably, Samsung has committed to six generations of Android OS upgrades for these models, ensuring they remain relevant until 2032.
The camera systems have also seen a boost. The Galaxy A57 features a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP macro lens, while the A37 offers a balanced triple-camera setup led by a 50MP sensor. Both devices house a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging, though it is worth noting that a charger is not included in the box. With IP67/IP68 water and dust resistance and a metal frame (on the A57), these devices are built to compete with the best in the mid-premium segment.
