Dust flying in the desert, roaring tanks and fighter jets thundering in the sky, this is not a scene from any movie, but the biggest real-time exercise of the Indian Army, Maru Jwala. This exercise is part of Operation Trishul, which is going on for 12 days. Just 6 months after Operation Sindoor, this is the biggest joint exercise of the Indian forces.

Where after another Delhi bomb blast, there is high alert in the border areas of the country. At the same time, all three armies of the country are sharpening their war preparations on the India-Pakistan border. Due to this, Pakistan is also in high alert mode on the western border. The purpose of this exercise is to test the ability to take action together in any situation, in any area.

What are the features of T90 tank?

  • The T-90 tank can be driven at a speed of 60 kilometers per hour on a normal road. Whereas on rough roads its maximum speed is around 50 kilometers per hour.
  • It is manufactured at the Uralvagonzavod factory in Nizhny Tagil, Russia.
  • T-90 tanks can be taken anywhere.
  • To protect against the enemy, the T90 tank has Kaktus K-6 explosive reactive armour.

This campaign conducted in the sea of ​​sand in the scorching desert has honed the fighting skills of the army soldiers. But, the bigger thing is that among these weapons, there are many such war weapons, tanks and helicopters, howitzer guns and air radar systems. Which have been deployed on the border of LOC and LAC.

For the first time, the Indian Army included American Apache AH-64E helicopters in its maneuvers to target enemy targets from the sky. These are called flying tanks and now they are part of the Indian Army. The Indian Army received the first consignment of three AH-64E Apache attack helicopters from America at Hindon Airbase in June 2025. These are the same models which were earlier with the Indian Air Force, but have now been prepared separately for the Army.

The specialty of these helicopters is. They have tremendous firepower. They are equipped with Hellfire missile, hydro rocket, and Stinger missile. Also, the 30 mm chain gun installed in them can attack simultaneously with 1,200 rounds of ammunition. These helicopters are equipped with radar with 360 degree coverage, target acquisition system and night vision cameras, which can accurately target the enemy both day and night.
