Sports world mourns the demise of Vedant Devadiga, Amitabh Bachchan shares emotional post

Mumbai: Big B has shared a post on his X handle condoling the demise of Vedant Devadiga, assistant manager of Pro Kabaddi team Jaipur Pink Panthers. It is very sad to lose 22 year old Vedant. He was very dear to all the team members.

Amitabh wrote on his X handle, ‘Despite this tragic incident, the team decided to play the next match in the memory of Vedant. He said players played to honor Vedanta and one young player honored Vedanta’s memory by writing his name on his head band. Amitabh appreciated the spirit of the team and wished them all the best. Jaipur Pink Panthers also expressed grief over Vedant’s demise in a post and said that his passion and dedication will always be remembered. His prayers are with Vedanta’s family.

Amitabh Bachchan’s work front
Amitabh Bachchan will lend his voice to the film ‘120 Bahadur’, which is based on the true events of the 1962 India-China war. This was revealed in an episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, in which Farhan Akhtar and Javed Akhtar were also seen. Farhan said that it would be an honor for him to start the film with Amitabh’s voice. However, Amitabh is the host of the popular quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC). In films, he will lend his voice to Jatayu in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’, which will release in 2026. Apart from this, Big B will also be seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD 2’.
