The year 2025 was a great year for veteran South Indian cinema actor Rajinikanth. This is the year in which Rajinikanth has completed 50 years in the film world. This year his film ‘Coolie’ was also released, which earned more than Rs 500 crore worldwide. Rajinikanth was congratulated by fans and celebrities on the occasion of completing 50 years in cinema. Now he was also honored for this achievement at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
His daughter Aishwarya Rajnikanth and her entire family are very happy on the recent honor received by Rajinikanth. Rajinikanth’s daughter recently shared some pictures on social media and said that she is celebrating her father’s completion of five decades in cinema. He told that it seems as if everything has been found.
Rajinikanth received lifetime achievement award
Rajinikanth, who left his mark in South Indian cinema as well as Bollywood, was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at IFFI. His entire family was present with him on this occasion. Aishwarya has shown a glimpse of it on her Instagram handle.

Made debut in 1975
Rajinikanth made his acting debut with the 1975 Tamil film ‘Apoorva Raagangal’. In this he was seen in a small negative role. Rajinikanth, who has given many excellent films in the South, has also done more than 20 films in Bollywood. Talking about the actor’s work front, he will now be seen in the film ‘Jailor 2’ to be released in 2026.
