Shahdol News: There was talk of a royal wedding in the entire area on Wednesday in Gram Panchayat Arteri Kala under Khairaha police station area of Shahdol district. The landlord farmer family set a unique example by bidding farewell to their beloved daughter in ‘Udan Khatola’ i.e. helicopter. For the first time in the village, a daughter was bid farewell in this style, a huge crowd of villagers gathered to see it.
The bride was sent off by helicopter
This marriage ceremony took place in the family of Arteri Kala resident Kunwar Aditya Singh, father Anjay Singh (former District Panchayat Sohagpur Vice President). Kunwar Aditya Singh was married to Mrigansi, daughter of a landlord farmer family resident of Nagaud in Satna district. After the marriage, the bride was sent off by helicopter. This information was given by a person attending the wedding procession.
Villagers arrived to see the helicopter
The helicopter reached Arteri Kala village on Wednesday afternoon. Groom Aditya Singh reached the village by helicopter with his bride Mrigansi. A helipad was specially prepared for landing in front of the house. As soon as the helicopter hovered over the village, a wave of excitement ran among the villagers. Children, elderly and women gathered at the spot in large numbers. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the villagers after getting the opportunity to see the helicopter closely.
Who is the groom?
The groom Aditya Singh is an engineer in a private company. His father Anjay Singh is a big farmer of the area and has been the former vice president of District Panchayat Sohagpur. A helipad was already arranged near the family’s Garhi (ancestral residence).

Prior permission was taken from the administration for the landing of the helicopter. For security reasons, police force was also deployed at the spot. It is noteworthy that this is the second time in Shahdol district that a helicopter has landed during a wedding ceremony. Earlier, a bride from Jamui area was also sent off by helicopter. This royal farewell is now being discussed in the entire district.
