
New Delhi. In the last few days, cases related to bomb threat to flights have increased. Just on January 18, an IndiGo flight going from Delhi to Siliguri’s Bagdogra Airport had received a bomb threat. Now something similar has happened with Indigo flight going from Delhi to Pune.
Indigo flight 6E 2608 going from Delhi to Pune received a bomb threat. Indigo has issued a statement saying that a handwritten note was found in the toilet of the aircraft. In this handwritten note, there was a threat to blow up the flight. This flight has been landed safely at Pune airport and all the passengers have been disembarked safely.
This Indigo flight was to land at Pune airport at 8.40 pm. However, this flight landed in Pune at 9.24 pm, 44 minutes behind schedule. After the flight landed and passengers disembarked, Air Traffic Control informed the apron about the bomb threat.
Along with alerting all relevant agencies, the apron called a meeting of the Bomb Threat Assessment Committee and the aircraft was taken to the isolation bay. This aircraft was thoroughly investigated, in which nothing suspicious was found. According to officials, nothing suspicious has been found from the plane. The aircraft has been cleared for normal operations.
It is noteworthy that a bomb threat was found written on tissue paper in the Indigo flight going from Delhi to Siliguri. After the threat, the flight was diverted to Lucknow and all the passengers were deboarded and the plane was thoroughly checked.
