Mumbai: Bollywood actress Vidya Malvade’s father’s health has deteriorated, due to which he has been admitted to the hospital. Vidya told that in this difficult time, she and her family members are praying for her speedy recovery. Vidya has worked with Shahrukh Khan in the film ‘Chak De India’.

Vidya has shared a post on Instagram and given information about her father’s health. Vidya wrote in the caption, ‘Sorry to all those who are messaging me. Apologies for not posting the rest of the menu for our No Sugar, No Grain Challenge. As you all know, my father was not well. He had to be immediately admitted to the hospital and is still there. Because of this it became difficult for me to find time to create and post my menus. Because his health is obviously my first priority.
Vidya’s family came to India from US
Vidya further wrote, ‘My family has come here from US. And we are praying for his speedy recovery and hopefully we will be able to do the 2 week challenge in December before 2026. Thank you for your good wishes, prayers and kindness.
Vidya Malvade’s career
Vidya started her career as an air hostess. After this she started modeling and worked in advertisements. He started his acting career with Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Intehaa’, which failed at the box office. Vidya starred opposite Shahrukh Khan in the film ‘Chak De India’, in which she played the role of goalkeeper and captain of the Indian women’s national hockey team.
