Vivo V70 FE Launch: The 7,000mAh Battery and 200MP Camera “Fashion Edition” Hits India

MUMBAI – Vivo has officially disrupted the premium mid-range segment today with the Indian launch of the Vivo V70 FE. Standing for “Fashion Edition,” the V70 FE is the first of its kind in the V-series to prioritize a fusion of extreme battery life and professional-grade aesthetics, boasting a massive 7,000mAh battery housed within a surprisingly slim 7.6mm body.

Design Meets “Darkness Glow” Technology

The V70 FE makes a bold style statement, particularly with its Northern Lights Purple variant. This model introduces Vivo’s proprietary Darkness Glow Technology, featuring a back panel that absorbs ambient light and emits a subtle, ethereal glow in dark environments. For those seeking a more classic look, the device is also available in Monsoon Blue and Titanium Silver.

Despite packing one of the largest batteries in a mainstream smartphone, the V70 FE weighs just 200 grams. It also brings flagship-level durability to the mid-range with dual IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to both high-pressure hot water jets and deep submersion.

200MP Ultra-Clear Imaging

Photography enthusiasts are treated to a 200MP OIS Ultra-Clear Main Camera utilizing the Samsung HP9 sensor. While the phone lacks a dedicated physical telephoto lens, Vivo uses AI Telephoto Enhancement to offer lossless-style cropping at four distinct focal lengths: 23mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm. This allows for stunning “Cinematic Portraits” that mimic the compression of professional lenses.

On the front, the V70 FE caters to the “groupie” generation with a 50MP Eye AF Group Selfie Camera, ensuring every face in a wide frame remains in sharp focus.

Performance and Long-Term Support

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo (4nm), paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a peak brightness of 1,900 nits, protected by Diamond Shield Glass.

In a significant move for consumer trust, Vivo has promised four years of Android OS updates (running Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box) and six years of security patches, keeping the device viable until 2032.
