What will PM Modi say to the country today? Eyes fixed on ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program… Know which important things will be the focus

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in his popular monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. 128th episode I will address the nation. The program will be broadcast live on All India Radio and Doordarshan Network at 11 am on Sunday. For those who wish to listen digitally, the episode will also be live-streamed on the AIR News website, NewsOnAir app, and the YouTube channels of PMO, AIR News and Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. After Hindi telecast on All India Radio, it will be telecast in regional languages.

‘Mann Ki Baat’ is Prime Minister Modi’s platform through which he communicates directly with Indians living in the country and abroad. Through this programme, the Prime Minister not only shares his views on national issues, but also highlights innovations, social campaigns and inspirational work happening at the grassroots level.

The previous i.e. 127th episode was aired on 26 October. During that time, PM Modi had wished the countrymen a happy Chhath festival and praised the youth who are giving a new identity to the Sanskrit language. He also expressed happiness over the increasing recognition of Indian coffee in the world. At the event, the Prime Minister also talked about the ‘GST Bachat Utsav’, cleanliness drive, environmental protection, and community efforts—including the ‘Garbage Café’ of Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh and the campaign led by engineer Kapil Sharma to revive the lakes of Bengaluru.

Along with this, the Prime Minister also praised the efforts of the security forces—BSF and CRPF—to include Indian breed dogs in their units.

‘Mann Ki Baat’, which started in October 2014, has today become an important medium to increase public participation in areas like cleanliness, digital empowerment, environmental protection and women empowerment.
