Ahmedabad. An incident like Nirbhaya incident took place in Rajkot in Gujarat. The police arrested the accused within a few hours. On Wednesday, the police took accused Ram Singh to the spot, where he attacked the policeman and tried to escape. Meanwhile, the police opened fire on him which hit Ram Singh’s leg. The accused has been admitted to the civil hospital for treatment.
According to media reports, accused Ram Singh tried to rape a six-year-old girl in Kanpur village of Rajkot district. When that failed, he inserted a rod into the girl’s private parts. The girl has been admitted to Rajkot hospital. His condition is improving. The police arrested Ram Singh after interrogating about 100 suspects. The accused is a resident of Alirajpur, Madhya Pradesh. Police are now taking further action.
