A young man, under the influence of drugs, assaulted his own biological mother and brought blood to the sacred relationship between mother and son. The blind son, driven by lust for money and drug addiction, fatally attacked his elderly mother. The mother who was seriously injured in this incident is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital, but presenting the example of Mamta, the victim mother still does not want any police or legal action against her old son.
Asked for money to buy drugs and on refusal, carried out a bloody attack.
This entire shameful incident is being reported from Chandsar Basti area of Bathinda. According to the information received, at around 1 o’clock last night the drug addict youth was pressurizing his mother for money to fulfill his addiction. When the helpless mother flatly refused to give the money, the young man became furious and lost his mental control. Without thinking, he hit his mother on the head with a heavy wooden stick kept nearby. Due to head injury and excessive bleeding, the elderly woman became unconscious and fell on the ground.
The social service organization took her to the hospital and the mother made a heart-touching plea.
After this incident which happened at midnight, people from the neighborhood gathered and immediately informed the local social organization ‘Youth Welfare Society’ about this. Members and volunteers of the organization reached the spot and immediately admitted the seriously injured woman to the nearest hospital through an ambulance. The mother, who was groaning in pain during treatment, said that the police should not torture her son, rather the government and administration should help her and get her son out of the quagmire of this deadly drug addiction and rehabilitate him.
