
Suture. A giant Shivalinga, which is being transported from Chennai in Tamil Nadu to Champaran in Bihar, is currently the main center of attraction. Shivling is currently passing on NH-44 from Jabalpur via Nagpur, where people are coming to worship at various places on the way.
The weight of Shivling is 1 lakh 80 thousand kg and the height is 30 feet. This giant is being transported on a 110-wheel trailer. Trailer driver Arun Kumar told that he had left Chennai 23 days ago and would reach Champaran in Bihar after 20 days.
The consecration of Shivling will be done in the Virat Ramayana temple under construction in Champaran. This temple is being built in Kaithwalia village of Janakinagar in East Champaran district. Mahavir Mandir Trust Committee is constructing this temple.
The main temple is 1080 feet in length and 540 feet in width. There will be a total of 18 peaks along with 22 more temples. The height of the peak of the temple has been kept at 270 feet.
The 30 feet high Shivalinga is made of a single stone.
This Shivalinga is made by carving a single stone. Vinayak Venkatraman’s company has prepared it with 10 years of tireless hard work. It cost about Rs 3 crore to make it. This huge Shivalinga was prepared with hard work by architect Loknath in Pattikadu village of Mahabalipuram. The special thing is that 1008 small Shivalingas have also been made on the Shivalinga.
