India-EU agreement ‘under pressure’, US official’s big statement on Trump’s tariff cuts

Agreement has been reached on the pending trade agreement between India and America. Along with this, after talking to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, America has also reduced the reciprocal tariff by 18 percent. After this step, the ongoing trade tension between the two countries has reduced. On this, Nisha Desai Biswal, one of the top American diplomats, has now responded. Nisha Biswal, Deputy CEO of the US International Development Finance Corporation, said that after months of negotiations, the framework of the agreement has been ready, but important details related to its implementation are still awaited. Biswal said, ‘Since we have not received any implementation guidelines or details yet, we will have to wait and see what it looks like.’ He said that the US and India have been negotiating written agreements for several months, so many of these details have already been decided by both negotiators. It remains to be seen whether the terms will remain unchanged or there will be changes in the final phase of the agreement.
