Chandigarh. The proceedings of the third day of Haryana Assembly started with Question Hour on Tuesday. Earlier, Congress MLAs took out a march under the leadership of Bhupendra Singh Hooda against the government. There was an uproar over old age pension during the budget session. Congress MLA Shishpal Keharwala asked how many people’s old age pension has been stopped in the name of investigation. How many pensions have been stopped after 2024? What is its scale?
In response, when Krishna Bedi enumerated the figures of deducted pension, the MLA said, “There is no need to waste so much time.” Just tell how much pension has been withheld in the name of verification. On this Bedi said – We will have to console ourselves. You people are misleading. On this, CM Nayab Saini said that the opposition has committed a sin by spreading rumors among the elderly. We are increasing their respect by increasing their pension. The minister has rightly replied that if any complaint comes, it is the responsibility of the government to conduct an investigation. Now no pension is withheld. All have been released.
