In Chhattisgarh Assembly, Finance Minister OP Chaudhary has presented the budget for the session 2026-27 in the House. The government has given special importance to farmers in the budget. While presenting the budget in the House, Minister OP Chaudhary said that our government is continuously working for the farmers. He told about the benefits to be given to farmers in the budget that farmers will get interest free loans. The government has made a provision of Rs 300 crore for this.
Provision of Rs 100 crore in the budget for pulses
The Finance Minister said that a provision of Rs 100 crore has been made for pulse crops. The government has made a provision of Rs 5500 crore in the budget for agricultural pumps. The government has made a provision of Rs 6000 crore in the budget for Markfed. He said that the government has purchased paddy worth 437 lakh metric tonnes.
Provision of Rs 3047 crore for Sikasar Linking Project
While presenting the budget, Finance Minister OP Chaudhary said that the government has made a provision of Rs 3047 crore for the Sikasar Linking Project. He said that a provision of Rs 10,000 crore has been made for landless farmer families. The government has made a provision of Rs 40 crore in the budget for natural farming.
