
RaipurOn International Women’s Day, ‘Lakhpati Didi Samvad’ program has been organized by Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission ‘Bihan’ under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department on March 7 at the Indoor Stadium in Raipur. CM Vishnudev will participate in it. The program will be presided over by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma. Along with local public representatives, senior officers and employees of Panchayat and Rural Development Department will also be present in the program. On this occasion, thousands of lakhpati didis from across the state will participate in the program. While interacting with these women, the Chief Minister will listen to their success stories and get information about the positive changes that have come in their lives through various schemes of the government. This program will become an important platform to share the efforts being made towards self-reliance and empowerment of women. During the program, Lakhpati Didi based coffee table book and Chhattiskala based brand book will be released from the hands of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. Along with this, ‘Lakhpati Didi Gram Portal’ will also be launched. Through these publications, the achievements and inspiring journeys of self-reliance of women associated with self-help groups will be widely presented. In the program, women, cadres and lakhpati didis of self-help groups doing excellent work from across the state will also be honoured. This event will highlight the continuous efforts of the Chhattisgarh government towards the economic empowerment of women and will inspire other women to become self-reliant.
