UP: Proposed in Lucknow, the capital of Hanumat Katha of Dhirendra Shastri Will not be organized now. Preparations were in full swing for this religious event to be held between March 14 and 18, but the event was canceled due to administrative reasons. Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has canceled the allotment of Rashtra Prerna Sthal ground located in Vasant Kunj Scheme.

According to the information, No Objection Certificate (NOC) could not be obtained from the police for the event. In view of the possible huge crowd and security arrangements, the administration did not give explicit permission. For this reason LDA withdrew the allocation order. Officials say that unless all the necessary permissions are obtained from the police and administration, the public space will not be made available for any major event.

Harshvardhan Aggarwal of the organizing organization Help You Educational and Charitable Trust said that preparations for the program were going on since October 2025. According to the initial plan, the Katha was to be organized at the Defense Expo venue. However, the police did not give permission fearing VIP movement and jam on Shaheed Path. After this, application was made for Rashtra Prerna Sthal.

LDA had allotted the ground on the condition of depositing Rs 33 lakh. According to the organizers, there was a technical problem in online payment. An option to deposit Rs 2.5 lakh per day was also given and the amount was deposited within two days, but due to a glitch in the system the payment could not be registered. like this, Hanumat Katha of Dhirendra Shastri It has been canceled for now.
