LPG cylinder becomes expensive
Oil marketing companies revise the prices of LPG cylinders on the first of every month. Commercial cylinder prices have increased by Rs 28 in Delhi. Whereas in other big cities it has been increased to Rs 31. After the new prices, 19 kg commercial gas cylinder will now be available in Delhi for Rs 1768.50, which was earlier available for Rs 1740.50. In Kolkata, the cylinder which was available for Rs 1844.50 will be available for Rs 1875.50, in Mumbai for Rs 1720.50 instead of Rs 1692 and in Chennai the cylinder which was available for Rs 1899.50 will be available for Rs 1929. There has been no change in the prices of 14 kg LPG gas cylinder.
air travel will be expensive
The burden on the pockets of air traveling passengers is going to increase. Every month, oil companies change the price of aviation fuel i.e. turbine fuel. Its price has been increased this month. The decrease or increase in ATF has a direct impact on the passengers. According to the new prices, from March 1, 2026, the price of ATF in Delhi has increased from Rs 91393.39 to Rs 96638.14 per kilometer.
Railway app UTS will be closed!
A rule related to railways will change from the first of March. Indian Railways may shut down the UTS app. Instead of this, passengers can avail the facilities of ticket booking and other rail services through RailOne.
Big change regarding SIM card
SIM Binding rule may be implemented across the country from March 1, 2026. According to the report of the Central Government, to log in on messaging apps, the account will have to be linked to the SIM. The deadline of March 1 was given for this. There may be problems during login on many social media platforms including WhatsApp, Telegram.
Change in rules related to UPI payment
Changes in the rules related to UPI payment are coming into effect from March 1, 2026. According to this rule, online transfer of large amount will not be based only on UPI PIN. Along with this, biometrics or multi-factor authentication will be required.
Rules related to minimum balance changed
The conditions related to service charge and minimum balance applicable on savings account have been changed. Changes have also been made in credit card reward points, late payment charges and fee structure. If the minimum balance is less, penalty will be imposed on the basis of average balance.
