Mamta Banerjee attacked the Center on the second day of the protest, said – if I put too much pressure, I will topple the government

KolkataWest Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on the second day of her dharna program launched a scathing attack on the central government and the BJP and issued a stern warning. She said that if too much pressure is created then she can even topple the Delhi government. She said, I know that your government is at the mercy of Chandrababu Naidu.

He said, “An attempt was made earlier also to divide Bengal by cutting votes, but it could not succeed. Bengal knows how to fight and the people here also know how to protect democracy.

‘Not averse to challenging the power of Delhi’

Mamata Banerjee also commented on the coalition politics of the Centre, saying that the present government of Delhi rests with the support of allies. Taking the name of Chandrababu Naidu, she said, some people are at the mercy of others, and if the situation worsens, she will not shy away from challenging the power in Delhi.

The Chief Minister also made suggestive remarks regarding the issue of the Governor. She said that she knows everything about why the Governor was removed, but will not say much on it at the moment. It is definitely said that the Governor was threatened.

Protest against rising gas prices

From the protest stage, the Chief Minister also raised the issue of inflation and rising prices of LPG. She appealed to the women to take to the streets wearing black sarees and carrying utensils on the occasion of the upcoming International Women’s Day and register a protest against the rising prices of gas.

BJP looking to take political advantage in Bengal

Mamta Banerjee said that the burden of inflation on the common people is increasing and the central government is not taking any concrete steps on this. He alleged that BJP is trying to divide the atmosphere in Bengal to take political advantage, but the people of the state will not let it succeed.
