Jammu. Once again a nefarious act was done by Pakistan, while a Pakistani drone was sent near the Line of Control (LOC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Army soldiers deployed in Digwar area in the early hours of Sunday immediately retaliated after seeing the suspicious drone.
According to the information, the Pakistani drone was seen entering the Indian territory at around 6.10 am on Sunday morning, after which the army fired more than a dozen rounds and forced it to return. In this regard, military officials told the media that the drone that entered the Indian border escaped the firing of the army. After hovering in the sky, the drone went back towards Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). This is the second time that drone activity has been observed from across the border within three days, forcing the Indian Army to take strict action. Let us tell here that on February 27 also there was infiltration of Pakistani drones in the same area, on which the Army took action. In such a situation, the current developments are considered very sensitive from security point of view because drones are often used to drop weapons or narcotics or for spying.
After the drone incident, Indian security forces have started a search operation in the entire area. The search operation will ensure that the said drone has not left any weapon or prohibited material on the Indian border. Along with this, vigil has been increased in the entire Poonch sector and surveillance has also been tightened on the border. This incident is also being considered serious because on one hand Pakistan is attacking Afghanistan and creating a situation of war, while on the other hand it is expressing its intention to open a new front by sending drones to India.
