Surajkund. Taking action in the case of swing accident that took place on February 7 in the Surajkund fair complex, the police have arrested two accused of the swing operator company. Haryana Police Inspector Jagdish Prasad was martyred while saving the injured in the accident. According to the police, a case has been registered under the section of culpable homicide against Mohammad Shakir, proprietor of Himachal Fun Care Company of Himachal Pradesh, in Surajkund police station. During the investigation, the police arrested Mohammad Shakir, resident of village Toka Nangla, district Sirmaur (Himachal Pradesh) and another accused Nitesh, resident of Dharmapuri Sadar, Meerut Cantt (Uttar Pradesh). Investigation into the role of other possible accused is ongoing. Considering the seriousness of the case, on the instructions of Police Commissioner Satendra Kumar Gupta, a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime. The team is investigating the matter keeping in mind the scientific and technical aspects.
