Trip to Tokyo to understand new technology
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath traveled in the fastest maglev train during the inspection of Tokyo-Nagoya corridor. This scheme is targeted to be implemented by the year 2027. This visit of CM Yogi is being seen as an effort for the ongoing development schemes on modern fronts of transportation in UP.
Maglev technology gives the train a speed of 500
The train is run at a speed of 500 kmph through maglev technique. In this technique the train does not touch the tracks. Due to which the train runs at lightning speed without any ground friction. Due to the powerful magnetic force, the train remains raised a few inches above the tracks. Earlier in the year 2025, during the trial, China had created a world record by running the speed of maglev train at 700 km/hour. At the same time, Japan’s maglev train has run at a speed of more than 500 km/h.
