CUPERTINO — As Apple prepares for its traditional September reveal, a flurry of supply chain leaks and CAD schematics have provided the clearest look yet at the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. While the external silhouette remains familiar, the 2026 flagship is set to introduce a bold new color palette and the most significant front-panel refinement since the debut of the Dynamic Island.
The most persistent rumors point to a headline color known as “Dark Cherry,” a deep, wine-like red that will reportedly replace the “Cosmic Orange” seen on the previous generation.
The New Palette: Muted Sophistication
According to reports from MacRumors and Macworld, Apple is currently testing four primary finishes for the Pro lineup. Notably, “Space Black” is rumored to be missing from the lineup for the first time in years, replaced by a darker gray.
