Beena Verma, a highly respected cultural educator and artist from Uttar Pradesh, is a renowned U.P. State Centre Holder of Chandigarh Chhaya School of Art (CSA). Her academy is proudly affiliated with CSA, and she has been associated with BDV Skill Development Society, U.P. as a dedicated Centre Holder for many years. Through her institution, she has played a significant role in promoting skill development, fine arts education, and Indian classical traditions across the region.

With decades of experience, Beena Verma has established herself as a distinguished classical dance and painting teacher, earning recognition at national and international levels. Her academic and artistic training reflects exceptional depth and discipline. She completed Kathak (Prabhakar – 6th Year) year and prestigious Diplomas in Bharatnatyam and Odissi, demonstrating her mastery over multiple Indian classical dance forms.
In addition to dance, she has expanded her creative expertise into visual arts by earning a Certificate in Visual Arts and Painting from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. Her academic journey is further enriched by an M.A. in Sociology from Poorvanchal University, Jaunpur, enabling her to blend cultural expression with social understanding in her teaching and performances.

Beena Verma’s career is distinguished by extensive international exposure. She has represented Indian classical arts in several countries, presenting performances that celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage on global platforms. Her outstanding contributions have been recognized with prestigious honors, including the “Kalashree Award” for excellence in cultural performance at Ektan 3, Thailand, organized by the Oasis Foundation. She was also awarded the “Kalashresht Award” for her exceptional Kathak dance performance at Khajuraho, a world-famous center of Indian art and culture.
Based in Vikas Nagar, Lucknow, Beena Verma continues to inspire students through her CSA-affiliated academy, her association with BDV Skill Development Society, and her unwavering commitment to preserving and promoting Indian classical arts. Today, she stands as a proud cultural ambassador of Uttar Pradesh and a guiding force for future generations of artists.
