Oppo is preparing for a major hardware event on April 21, 2026, where it will officially debut the Find X9 Ultra and the Find X9s for global markets. While the Ultra model represents the pinnacle of mobile photography, the Find X9s is carving its own niche as a “compact flagship” that doesn’t compromise on core performance.
Find X9 Ultra: Dual 200MP Revolution
The Find X9 Ultra is being positioned as a direct rival to the Samsung S26 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra. Its primary claim to fame is a groundbreaking dual 200MP camera system. This setup includes a nearly 1-inch 200MP main sensor paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 3x optical zoom. For extreme distances, a second 50MP periscope lens offers 10x optical zoom. Co-engineered with Hasselblad, the system reportedly boasts a 36% improvement in light intake for zoomed shots compared to last year’s hardware.
Find X9s: Power in a Small Package
The Find X9s aims to win over fans of smaller phones. It features a 6.3-inch display with industry-leading 1.1mm ultra-thin bezels, making it one of the most ergonomic flagships on the market. Unlike the China-exclusive “Pro” model, the global Find X9s is tipped to run on the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC, optimized for high efficiency in smaller chassis designs.
