Billed as the industry’s first “wide-format” book-style foldable, the device moves away from the narrow, remote-control-like silhouette of traditional foldables in favor of a broader, more natural “paper-like” aspect ratio.
The launch event in China showcased a device designed to dominate landscape-oriented tasks—gaming, cinema, and multitasking—well ahead of the rumored “iPhone Fold” and “Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide” expected later this year.

The Pura X Max features a consistent 2:1 aspect ratio across both its screens, ensuring that the visual experience remains uniform whether the device is open or closed.
