The Buds 4 Pro features a sophisticated dual-driver setup—an 11mm woofer for deep, resonant bass and a 5.5mm planar tweeter for crisp, airy highs—delivering a three-dimensional audio quality that challenges the best in the industry.
The active noise cancellation (ANC) has seen a significant jump, now offering 3dB better attenuation than previous models. In real-world testing, it effectively silences the constant hum of airplane engines or the roar of the Delhi Metro. Beyond sound, Samsung has integrated a layer of AI tools that make the experience feel smarter. The buds support real-time translation and feature “Adaptive ANC” that automatically adjusts noise levels based on your surroundings.
While the sound quality is top-tier, the Buds 4 Pro are clearly designed to be the crown jewel of the Samsung ecosystem. When paired with a Galaxy phone, users get access to the Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC-UHQ) for 24-bit/96kHz hi-res audio and full Dolby Atmos support. However, this ecosystem lock remains a point of contention; while they work with any Bluetooth device, non-Samsung users will miss out on the most advanced customization and AI features.
