The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that cricket legends Rahul Dravid, Mithali Raj and Roger Binny will be honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Awards at the upcoming Naman Awards 2026 ceremony.
The BCCI Naman Awards are organised every year to recognise outstanding contributions to Indian cricket. This year’s ceremony is expected to celebrate several former players, coaches and administrators who played key roles in shaping the country’s cricketing legacy.
Rahul Dravid, often referred to as “The Wall,” has been one of India’s most respected cricketers. Apart from his successful playing career, he also guided the Indian team as head coach and played a major role in developing young talent.
Former India women’s team captain Mithali Raj will also receive the honour for her remarkable career in international cricket. Widely regarded as one of the greatest batters in women’s cricket history, Mithali led India for many years and inspired a new generation of female cricketers.
Roger Binny, a key member of India’s historic 1983 World Cup-winning team, will also be recognised for his contribution to the game.
Along with the Lifetime Achievement Awards, the ceremony will also celebrate the achievements of the Indian team that recently won the T20 World Cup.
The Naman Awards 2026 ceremony is expected to bring together several current and former cricketers, officials and fans to celebrate the rich legacy of Indian cricket.
