NBEMS GPAT 2026: Result Declared; 7 Questions Scrapped, Full Marks Awarded

NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially declared the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2026 results. Amidst the excitement of the release, the board has made a significant technical announcement: following a thorough review of candidate challenges by subject matter experts, seven questions have been scrapped from the final evaluation.

In accordance with NBEMS policy, the board has awarded full marks for these seven technically flawed or ambiguous questions to all candidates who appeared for the exam, regardless of whether they attempted them. This decision has caused a minor shift in the final merit rankings and cut-off percentiles compared to preliminary expectations. The final answer key, which served as the basis for this result, was finalized on April 5 after the objection window closed in late March.

A total of 5,362 candidates have qualified for pharmacy admissions this year. The result PDF, currently available on natboard.edu.in, lists the roll numbers and All India Ranks (AIR) of successful aspirants. While the rank list is public, individual scorecards—which will detail the specific marks obtained including the bonus points from scrapped questions—will be available for download starting April 15, 2026. This year’s GPAT marks remain a critical gateway for M.Pharm and Ph.D. admissions, with a validity of three years for those seeking national scholarships.
