BHOPAL – While the limelight is on the 10th and 12th Board results today, the Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) recently finalized the results for Class 9 and Class 11. Over 15 lakh students across Madhya Pradesh appeared for these local-level annual examinations. The results have been uploaded to the Vimarsh Portal (vimarsh.mp.gov.in), which serves as the central hub for non-board classes.
To access the Class 9 results, students or parents need to visit the portal, select the district, block, and school name, and then choose their specific class. The results are often released in the form of a PDF merit list or a scorecard. Unlike the board exams, the Class 9 evaluation is managed at the school level but moderated by the DPI to ensure uniformity.
Students who have secured the “E” grade (below 33%) in up to two subjects are eligible for remedial classes and a re-exam, which will be conducted in July 2026. The DPI has emphasized that the transition to Class 10 is a critical milestone, and schools have been directed to hold parent-teacher meetings this week to discuss the students’ performance and the upcoming curriculum for the board-exam year.
